Tree Trimming and Pruning
New England Tree Preservation, Inc. requires its arborists to use methods such as Drop Crotch Pruning, Cosmetic, and Hygienic to improve or maintain the natural shape of the trees. Dead, diseased, and broken limbs can be removed at any time during the year. However, for general pruning maintenance, the best time is in the late winter or early spring just before bud break.
